GirasoliThe farm Colle di Rocco is located in the town of Cannara (PG), among the Martani Hills  between the rivers Topino and Chiascio on one hand, and the river Tiber the other part. The breathtaking view extends to 270 degrees, embracing the entire beautiful Umbrian valley from Perugia to Assisi, Spello, Foligno, Trevi and Montefalco.L'azienda Colle di Rocco

The property covers almost 5 ectars in an environment declared “naturalistic protected”, in the DOC and DOP Monti Martani and includes a beautiful stone house of the fifteenth century entirely renovated and transformed into a farmhouse offering comfortable accommodation in  apartments.

In our property there are more than 800 olive trees, many of which even centuries old (dating from the fifteenth century) of San Felice and Moraiolo varieties, among the finest in Central Italy. Our company produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil single variety moraiolo – type fruit – in addition to a wonderful extra virgin resulting from a blend of the oldest local varieties (San Felice, Frantoio, Limona, Leccino, Moraiolo).

VignetoWe also have 4 small vineyards – for a total of about one hectare of land – some vines are over 80 years of age which are dedicated to the production of local wines of the ancient tradition (such as Vernaccia di Cannara, White Passito and Vin Santo).

To complete the production panorama, there are 180 fruit trees, some varieties now almost extinct, like  the ” white Umbrian apple”, or St. Peter and Paul’s plums. But more interesting is the production of figs, ofremarkable quality, both fresh and dried, with unique varieties like Dottato, the Umbrian Verdone or San Pietro figs.
